I cannot say enough good things about Roberto and his team!! What an absolute pleasure to work with. He responded quickly to set up my initial consult where he came on site to help me with the design and specs for my project. I received a very reasonable quote quickly and the project was done just a couple weeks later! I really appreciated how communicative he was and the efficiency of the team. The shelves are just absolutely gorgeous!!!

We worked with Roberto at RB WoodWorks this summer to add custom built-in bookshelves and file drawers for our home office, as well as a bay window bench seat in our kitchen dining area. Roberto and his team are true craftsmen! Roberto is great to work with, and shared ideas on how to improve our concept. The final work matched so well that you would never know it was not part of the original home. His group completed the work quickly, and always made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving each day. They are true professionals and I would highly recommend them for any project!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Roberto and his team. They made my built in dreams come true! I am so thrilled with the work they did. Everyone was incredibly professional, kind, and worked so fast. I met with Roberto on 4/16 and he finished my project today 4/25. I will absolutely use him for future projects! I highly recommend him, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Roberto and team!

We couldn't be more impressed with the work we had done with Roberto of RB Wood Works. Throughout the process Roberto and his team were responsive, professional, and detail oriented, and they completed our projects very quickly as well. We also appreciated that Roberto took our ideas to heart, offered helpful suggestions and recommendations, and truly made our vision come to life in a way that was even better than we originally imagined. They built a cased opening with header in our dining room, mudroom built-ins, and built-ins surrounding our fireplace for this project. We would definitely recommend RB Wood Works, and will be hiring them again in the future to complete other custom upgrades to our home as well.

Summary: Roberto Becquer gave a cost and time estimate on a drywall job. He then hired the job out to others who did not show up on time and did poor quality work. After seeing the poor quality work, he tried to charge me more ($1700 above what we agreed on) to fix the issues caused by the people he hired to complete the work. The job took longer than promised and I ended up having to hire another drywall finisher to come in and fix Roberto's mess. The finish on the walls is terrible, the trim rings on the brand new lights had been sanded over, and my house was a mess. See the attached pictures for the quality of Roberto Becquer's work.

More Detail: I was searching for a drywall contractor to hang and finish drywall once I had completed framing on my kitchen/living room remodel. I posted on Nextdoor asking for recommendations. Roberto Becquer responded to my post saying that he would be willing to come look at the job. He came to my home to look at the job and give an estimate. We discussed what needed to be done and the expectation was for him to hang the drywall on the walls and portions of the ceiling, scrape the existing popcorn ceiling in the kitchen, living room, and office, and finish all the drywall leaving it ready for paint. Roberto stated that the job would take 3 days, possibly a few hours on the 4th day to finish up. He quoted a price which was not cheap, but fair for a job that I wanted done quickly. His company had many good reviews, so I decided to let him do the work.

In preparation for Roberto to start his work, I moved all the furniture and kitchen items I could into the garage, and covered what was left in plastic. This was in an effort to minimize the amount of dust that got on everything and to give Roberto plenty of room to work inside. When Roberto delivered the drywall, he stacked it in the garage.

On the Monday that the work was supposed to begin, one person showed up at around 9:00 am. He spoke very little English, but I was able to confirm that he was there to work on the drywall. I assumed this was one of Roberto's helpers and that Roberto would be along any minute to get started. He came inside, looked around, then left for about 45 minutes. When he got back, I asked when the other guys were going to show up and was able to figure out that it would just be the one guy working that day. At that point I left to go to work. When I got home around 3pm, around 2/3 of the drywall was hung, no mudding had been done, and there was nobody around. The guy had cut all of the drywall in the garage, so everything I had tried to protect was covered in drywall dust.

By Wednesday afternoon, no more work had been done on the drywall. The guy doing that part of the job had not returned since Monday. The popcorn had been scraped off of the ceiling, but it was left in a mess. This is where Roberto claimed I would need to pay more to fix the ceiling. The "extra" work he claimed needed to be done was never completed, yet he still tried to collect the extra payment.

By Friday, Roberto was out of town and claimed the work was done. No plastic had been placed on the floors before the walls and ceiling were sanded. There is drywall dust permanently imbedded in the joints between the hardwood boards because no effort was made to protect them.

The following Monday he came by to collect payment. I paid him the original amount we had agreed on, but refused to pay the extra $1700 because no extra work had been done. Needless to say, Roberto was not happy about this. He eventually left and I began working to clean up the mess. Roberto may do great cabinet work (based on the google reviews), but I would not recommend him for any type of drywall work.

The installation team was delightful to work with. Their willingness to accommodate the changes to install crown and shoe molding that we requested was greatly appreciated. The workers were pleasant and completed the work in a timely manner. I recommend this company.
